Standard Ad Units

Photobucket requires 2 full business days to test and prop standard ad creative submissions. Please allow ample time for this process prior to the ad start date.

Leaderboard Specifications:

• Size: 728x90
• Format: GIF, JPEG, SWF
• File size: Standard Creative 25k; Flash 35k
• Animation: 15 sec max, no loop max
• Alternate text: 5 words or less

Skyscraper Specifications:

• Size: 160x600 or 120x600
• File format: GIF, JPEG, SWF
• File size: standard creative 25k; Flash 35k
• Animation: 15 sec max, no loop max
• Alternate text: 5 words or less

Medium Rectangle Specifications:

• Size: 300x250
• File format: GIF, JPEG, SWF
• File size: standard creative 30k; Flash 35k
• Animation: 15 sec max, no loop max
• Alternate text: 5 words or less

Large Rectangle Specifications:

• Size: 425x600
• File format: GIF, JPEG, SWF
• File size: standard creative 30k; Flash 40k
• Animation: 15 sec max, no loop max
• Alternate text: 5 words or less

All advertisers wishing to use Flash creatives must supply the following prior to testing:

• Flash SWF (14 - 18 Flash frames per second)
• Back-up default GIF or JPEG
• Click-through URLs

Rich Media Ads

Photobucket accepts a variety of Rich Media formats. Please contact the sales team for a full list of supported vendors.

Lead time: Send at least 3 business days prior to viewing.

• Availability: All standard ad units.
• Iframes: Units will be served through an Iframe.
• Restrictions: Ad cannot take up more than 30% of the page size.
• Serving Fees: Unless agency specifically states otherwise, third-party serving fees apply.
• Initial Load: 30k max

Expandable Ad Guidelines:

• Must be user-initiated.
• Initial load must conform to our specifications (728x90 and 160x600 banners have a 30k max file size limit). Subsequent loads may go up to 100k (polite download only).
• Sound may only be user-initiated.
• Expandable limitations. Banner: 3x Vertical/Horizontal.

Video Ads

Photobucket requires all video files to be received at least 5 business days prior to viewing. Files can be served from other sources as well.

• Size: 300x250
• Duration: 30 seconds
• Preferred format: Flash
• Alternative accepted formats: QuickTime, Windows

Special Advertising Packages

Photobucket offers custom packages that may be tailored to the individual client's needs. This may include roadblocks, interstitials, and targeted placements. Targeting may be based on geographical location, age, gender, or (soon to come) interests/keywords.

Photobucket will supply additional specifications for unique opportunities on a per-case basis.
