Alex Welch, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder

Alex is Co-Founder and CEO of Photobucket. As CEO, he is responsible for developing the overall vision, strategy and product roadmap for the company. In 2003, Alex and his Co-Founder Darren Crystal observed that e-commerce and social networking users were in need of an easy-to-use centralized "hub" to store and publish images. Alex and Darren have spent three years building, tuning, and enhancing the application and core infrastructure of Photobucket. Prior to founding Photobucket, Alex was a software engineer at Level 3 Communications where he was responsible for developing advanced networking software and services. Alex received his BS degree from Colorado State University, with an emphasis in Computer Information Systems.

Darren Crystal, Chief Technical Officer and Co-Founder

Darren is Co-Founder and CTO of Photobucket. As CTO, Darren is responsible for developing and maintaining all architecture and technology infrastructure at Photobucket. Darren's work has led Photobucket to be one of the most reliable and dependable networks of its kind. Prior to co-founding Photobucket, Darren was a software architect for Level 3 Communications. Prior to that, Darren was a network engineer at Dell Corporation. Darren has been working in the IT industry for sixteen years; he has experience designing, developing, and maintaining large Unix and network infrastructures in companies like IBM Global Services, Maxserv, and Eaton Semiconductors. Darren studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin.

Michael Clark, Vice President of Technology

Michael is the Vice President of Technology responsible for the software development and product planning processes to enhance Photobucket's services. He is also responsible for the software architecture, infrastructure, content moderation, and user experience. Michael has more than twelve years of experience developing network and system architectures. Prior to Photobucket, Michael provided engineering services to large enterprise accounts for Network Appliance. Michael has held various director level engineering and technical roles at TouchAmerica, TiGi Corporation, Philips Electronics LMS, Internet Communications Corporation, MediaOne Group, and Citrix Systems. Michael has a BS Degree from the University of Denver.

Greg Wimmer, Vice President of Finance and Administration

Greg Wimmer brings to Photobucket over 20 years of finance, accounting and management leadership at innovative technology companies in the San Francisco Bay Area. As Vice President of Finance & Administration, Mr. Wimmer is responsible for all corporate finance, accounting, legal and administrative operations at Photobucket. Prior to Photobucket, Mr. Wimmer played a key role in raising $100+ million of venture financings (Series A, B and C) from leading venture capitalists, including BlueRun Ventures, DFJ, Intel Capital, Qualcomm Ventures, Mitsui Ventures, Sequoia Capital, New Enterprise Associates, USVP, Hummer Winblad, and DMV Veritas. As the Chief Financial Officer of Wavemarket, Inc. Mr. Wimmer played a strategic role in growing the company to a successful enterprise. As the V.P. of Finance & Administration at Zembu Labs, Inc. of Palo Alto, he successfully led the company administration until he helped negotiate and completed the liquidation of the company. Previously, Mr. Wimmer also ran finance, legal, and administration for several years at both NightFire Software, Inc. (acquired by Neustar, Inc NSR). and Vite' helping both of them emerge from start-up to successful operating companies until each was acquired. Mr. Wimmer also founded and managed an accounting firm in Palo Alto, CA specializing in audit and tax services for emerging technology companies. He also worked as a Management Consultant in the San Jose office of Deloitte & Touche in both the audit and tax practices. Mr. Wimmer is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. He holds both Accounting and Finance degrees and attended both the University of Oregon and University of California at Berkeley.

Peter Foster, Senior Vice President of Sales

Peter Foster is Vice President of Sales for Photobucket and brings over 9 years of executive level advertising sales and management experience. Peter has spent his career working directly with major advertisers and agencies across the US while running top-notch sales organizations. Most recently, Peter was Senior Vice President of Sales for ValueClick Media/Fastclick, where he managed a national team of more than 30 people and yearly revenues of more than $160 million, while integrating the two sales organizations after the acquisition of Fastclick. Prior to joining Fastclick, Peter spent six years at MaxOnline, formerly L90 and DoubleClick Media, rising steadily through the ranks to an executive role as Vice President of West Coast sales after significant individual contribution as the company's top salesperson from 2000 to 2002. He received a bachelor's in psychology from Kenyon College, graduating cum laude with honors.

Heather Dana, Vice President of Customer Service

Heather started at Photobucket in August 2006 and has leadership responsibility for the delivery of world-class services and support to Photobucket users worldwide. With more than 20 years of customer service leadership experience, Heather brings a wealth of operational and strategic knowledge to the position. Prior to joining Photobucket, Heather consulted to Turbine, a leading producer and publisher of online subscription entertainment. Before Turbine, she served as the Vice President of Customer Service at Monster.com where she was instrumental in implementing customer-facing programs and services that dramatically increased customer satisfaction and improved the quality of the customer experience. Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Boston College, Summa Cum Laude and is a COPC (Customer Operations Performance Center) Registered Coordinator.

Peter Pham, Vice President of Business Development

Peter is Vice President of Business Development responsible for strategic business development, partnerships, and user acquisition. Peter has experience in business development and product with particular expertise around emerging technologies. Prior to PhotoBucket, Peter held various Director of Business Development positions at companies such as Tigi Corporation, a high performance storage platform based on solid state technologies; Vectant, a U.S. division of Japanese conglomerate Marubeni; and DesktopOnline. Peter has a BS in Biology and Minor in Business Management from the University of California, Irvine. Go Anteaters!

Alice Lankester, Vice President of Marketing

Alice is responsible for all outbound customer, business and product marketing activities at Photobucket. An early Silicon Valley settler, Alice has had a long career in product development and marketing, originally as a founding member of an early IBM/Macintosh software startup in 1985, sold to Symantec Corporation in 1988. Since then, Alice has worked at Apple Computer UK and at a variety of large and small high technology companies in senior level marketing roles, most recently as Vice President of Marketing at FilmLoop, Inc. Originally from the United Kingdom, Alice holds a degree in History and Art from the Metropolitan University of Leeds.

Alex Musil, Vice President of Product

Alex is responsible for the product roadmap and user experience at Photobucket. With more than 10 years of experience on consumer Internet products, Alex has held management positions in both engineering and product management at leading Internet corporations including Netscape, AOL and Yahoo! As a Director at Yahoo!, Alex launched the first developer platforms for the industry-leading Mail and Messenger products as well as the first large-scale IM interoperability service with MSN. Alex holds a degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.
